My name is Julie Kennedy, I am British, brought up in France and and have lived in close to 15 countries in Africa and Europe.
I speak English, French, Dutch, Spanish and German. I hold a BA in German/Spanish and Business Studies and have worked in many fields ( Linked-in profile )
My passion is Connection and Communication, whether with ourselves or with others. I have always valued the power of words, how they are used, when we speak to ourselves, when we speak or write to others, in which ever form that may be.
Writing has been part of my life since as far back as I can remember.
I graduated with my Life Coach Practitioner Degree and NLP Practitioner with Distinctions and was accredited in 2009. I have a wealth of experience in motivational coaching and coaching for expatriates, 20 years own experience as expat partner which actually brought me to Coaching as reflected in my contribution to the published book “A Coach’s Story”.
My life as expat and need to constantly re-define myself as the paths around me changed is actually what led me to coaching. I coach in English, French, German and Dutch.
If you are serious about achieving your personal best in any area of your life, I am passionate about making it happen.
I believe we all have a choice. We might not always choose or appreciate what we come across in life but we CAN always choose how to respond to it. We can call it “bad karma”and resign ourselves or on the other hand find something positive, a learning point in every situation, then we have gained something, and are richer for it. The richer we are, the more grateful we become and the more we give in return…and that is when good things start to happen.
My mission: to make a difference, a positive difference, in the lives around me.
You can expect as coach: empathy and understanding, a genuine curiosity and belief in your ability to live the life you truly want, a gentle but relentless nudge to “walk the talk” or investigate what is holding you back, a strong dosage of motivation and a share sprinkling of humour.
You can expect as Editor a total belief in the value of your work which will lead me to be ruthless in getting to the bottom of what you really mean, of cutting and tightening when needed, keeping you to your deadlines and encouraging the process. Your book deserves it!
